Hi, does anyone have the gerber files for alberts 1982 1w pll design ? often called a "dawson" driver. (usually red board). Its well established online. I could sit and copy the tracks painfully, but thought id ask on here first.
Either that or broadcast warehouses design.

Iv been using a driver i designed myself using the "ugly" method, but im not an RF engineer and most probably sprogs bad. The designs are out there so why not use them
Thanks

Forget the BW circuit - you won't find a 145170 at sensible price these days - they've been obsolete for over 20 years!

Here's the Dawson PLL with diagram, parts list and a .brd file I nicked from jugglingpirate.net before he took down his site:

You may also want to consider this as a 1 watt - it's got a dead posh LCD display and fewer esoteric components:

If I were you I would buy one of these when they come back on stock - you can turn it down to 1 watt, it's clean and comes with a tin-plate box - €62 Euro - the price alone makes it not worth pricking around making your own PCB, component shopping etc.
